Shoot the way you always do. Each frame appears on the iPhone screen, so the person in front of the lens can finally see the shot — without crowding around the back of the camera.
How it works
- On the camera, turn on Wi-Fi: Setup menu → Wi-Fi → Establish Wi-Fi connection.
- On the iPhone, open Settings → Wi-Fi and join the camera's network. Its name and password live under Wi-Fi → Network settings on the camera.
- Open Deo, tap Connect, and shoot. Every photo shows up on screen.
The camera stays yours
Deo never takes control of your camera. The shutter, dials, and menus keep working exactly as they normally do. The app only listens for new photos and brings them across — by design, it cannot change a setting or fire the shutter.
Built for real shoots
- Photos arrive full screen, and you can swipe back through recent shots.
- Tap once for the status bar and disconnect control.
- If the camera drops the link while it writes to the card or dozes off, Deo reconnects on its own and keeps your last shot on screen.
What you need
A Nikon camera with built-in Wi-Fi, set up for a direct connection to a smart device. Some bodies need a firmware update first — the D7500, for example, requires firmware 1.10 or later.
The camera's Wi-Fi has no internet access. That's expected: your iPhone is talking straight to the camera.
No account, no cloud
There is no sign-up, no subscription, and no server. Deo collects nothing at all — see the privacy policy for the details.
